Revotech Group was started in 2016 by Patrick, under the name of 'Chester Bearings'. Patrick had spent over 15 years running manufacturing and service operations for whitemetal bearings, including setting up new operations in the UAE and Malaysia.

As well a technical expert in the field of whitemetal bearings, he is experienced in contract negotiation, business development, site inspections and bidding throughout Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and the Far East. During this time, experience and fundamental knowledge of rotating equipment has been accumulated along with business contacts. Industry exposure includes thermal power plants, hydro power generation, geothermal power generation, utilities, oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and marine.

In 2018, the company was renamed to Revotech Group with the objective to work with 3rd party service providers to collaborate to increase the value added to end users of rotating equipment. This coincided with founding of Oiltech Bearings in the UK to manufacture and repair whitemetal bearings. Whitemetal bearings are a strategic spare part for rotating equipment, so the approach of Revotech is to bring ownership and accountability to entire projects rather than separate vendors for manpower, spare parts and services such as bearing repair, which is provided by Oiltech Bearings as a group company.
